Just Another Day
Just when things were getting quiet there are rumors that Bill Martin, Mary Sue Coleman, Rich Rodriguez, and his agent got together in Toledo to discuss the vacant Michigan Head Coaching position. After a couple of days of idle chatter and some pictures of Urban Meyer's hot jailbait daughter, we are once again talking about what really matters around here...Lloyd Carr's successor. And of course everyone is flipping out about this alleged meeting and what it could mean for Michigan. Rodriguez is denying meeting with Martin and Mary Sue, but at this point in the search, who cares? What does this all mean? We ll it means that there are far too many people that are not getting any work done!
If Rodriguez does end up here, cool. But if this is just some more BS then the people getting all up in arms about it deserve the emotional roller coaster that they are riding. Go ahead and believe that the next coach will be Jesus Christ himself and debate what kind of coordinators he will hire. Rumor has it that he has 11 choices and that they will all bring something different to the table and one or two might even run the spread offense.
We won't know anything until Gilligan Martin wants us to, especially with how public the two "rejections" have been. So sit back, relax and have a drink. This is going to take some patience and common sense, which is really hard for some people.
